I am 65 yrs old, I have had my flu shot this year as every year, but I have what I think is flu like symptoms, stuffed head, achy, kind of a sore throat, but not really in my throat more in the back begining of my throat like in front almost like its a soft tissue, could I have the flu despite that I have a flu shot?
Viral infection with rhinitis or pharyngitis may cause head ache and throat pain. Other possibilities like reflux disease or sinusitis et cetera may give headache.
Avoid cool drinks, freeze water, and allergen that may aggravate your problem. Use salt water gargling and water vapor inhalation. Take tablet Alday dc twice a day for five days and tablet Paracetamol thrice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
