What Causes Headache, Ear Pain And Blood In Saliva?
in the shower and whiling brushing I have had the taste of blood in my mouth, when i spit there is blood in the salvia and congestion . It only seems to happen in the shower and is clear after i spit once or twice. I m not coughing up this blood and have no cough but I had fever and a sore throat. I do suffer ear pain and times minor headache and eyes hurts . The appearence of blood is worrying me, please advice?
The issue of blood in saliva appears to be originating from you mouth or oral cavity and could be a dental problem. Most commonly such problems are from gums or a cavity in teeth or a similar issue there. Please visit a dentist and get your oral cavity examined and in the meantime you can start consuming vitamin C tablet of up to 1000 mg strength per day.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
