What Causes Headache, General Malaise And Weakness In Body?

Fever of unknown origin. Urinalysis indicate no UTI. Chest X-ray PA and lateral clear. Preliminary blood tests indicate red and white blood counts normal as are early results from blood cultures. Pt has headache and general malaise and feeling of weakness as well as temperature that goes up and down several times a day

Pyrexia may give rise to these symptoms. It is important to diagnose the cause of fever. Since, the blood tests are normal, it would be wise to go for estimation of CRP along with amoebic serology. Tuberculosis and typhoid fever should be ruled out.
