General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your symptoms are for less then a week, very likely you are having a viral infection. Generally they are self limiting and the patient should be much better within a week.

Meanwhile taking some paracetamol and ibuprofen to help with pain and possible fever might help, taking plenty of fluid and resting is recommended as well.If the symptoms are there for more then a week then you will need to see your doctor and probably have some tests to make sure all is well.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
