What Causes Headache On One Side And Numbness In Lips?
I have a one sided headache for a week. At first I thought it was a cold and I started to treat it. Three days today I noticed my lips on the opposite side were getting numb and I can t contract the eye muscles on the headache side. I need help. I m in my mid thirties
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache on one side and numbness in lips. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like migraine , bell's palsy or neuralgia . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses on face , eat soft food and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe vasograine , betablockers , frusamide , nerve supplement or may recommend alcohol infection in root of nerve or surgery .
