What Causes Headache Post Intracerebral Hemorrhage?
Hi. 1 week ago I had a stroke in the occipital region (Intracerebral haemorrhage) with some evidence of SAH too. Being extremely fortunate, aparrently it was a only small bleed wich has resulted in a small loss of central vision in my focal area. My blood pressure at the time was 200/103 which has now been brought down with the use of Folpik XL 5mg). I have had continuous headaches since last Wednesday and would like to know if this is normal ( due to the drop in BP or the actual bleed)
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.
Based on the history you have shared, a headache can be caused by pressure effects, caused by extra blood which seeps out of blood vessels. Using nimodipine can be helpful to decrease the pressure effects.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
