Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that headache may be a nonspecific symptoms of many general health conditions like : an infection, chronic anemia, inflammation, blood electrolytes imbalance, depression, anxiety, metabolic disorders, etc. So it is true that a kidney infection, could cause a similar clinical scenario. Regarding the abdominal pain, a kidney infection can mimic labor cramps. I recommend consulting with your attending physician and perform a good physical examination, a routine blood test, an urine analysis, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes and an abdominal ultrasound, to examine better your situation.
