Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
ive had heartburn for the past week really bad and all day long sometimes it causes me to vomit but the real problem is I have like this could like saliva and if I keep swallowing which I can t possibly spit every drop out I vomit all that saliva and nothing else back up and this too has been happening everyday almost soon as I wake up and causes stomach cramps
Hi and Welcome to HCM. I can understand your problem. After having gone through your symptoms of vomiting, stomach ache and heart burn are suggestive acidity related reflux disease referred to as Gastroesophageal reflux disease. This is due to regurgitation of acidic stomach contents into your food pipe (oesophagus) causing heart burn, stomach upset and vomiting.
Consult a physician for proper assessment and a possible course of acid suppressing drugs like PPI for 4-6 weeks.
Besides above medication you must have certain life style modifications such as avoid eating hot and spicy foods, alcohol, chocolates, coffee. Avoid smoking if you are smoker.
Hope the suggestions given above could be useful in getting rid of the symptoms.
Wishing you a very good health.
