General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the headache, swollen gums, weakness and high BP are constellation of various possible causes as:
- Endocrine abnormalities
- Side effect of certain drugs
- Low levels of potassium, sodium or others through possible diuretic type of medicines used for blood pressure control
- Stress associated
- Metabolic changes at liver level

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
