Hi,

There are many possible causes of headaches and joint pain, and it is difficult to determine the exact cause without a proper medical examination. However, some common causes of headaches and joint pain include:
* Infections: Certain viral or bacterial infections can cause both headaches and joint pain.
* Inflammation: Inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, lupus, or fibromyalgia can cause joint pain as well as headaches.
* Sinusitis: Inflammation of the sinuses can cause headaches and pressure in the head, as well as facial pain and tenderness.
* Dehydration: Dehydration can cause headaches and joint pain due to the lack of fluids in the body.
* Tension headaches: Tension headaches can cause a feeling of tightness in the head and can be triggered by stress, poor posture, or eye strain.
* Migraines: Migraines can cause severe headaches along with other symptoms such as sensitivity to light and sound.

To treat these symptoms over the counter, you can try the following:
* Rest: Getting enough rest and avoiding stress can help relieve tension headaches and migraines.
* Pain relievers: Over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or aspirin can help relieve headaches and joint pain.

Hydration: Drinking enough water and fluids can help relieve dehydration-related headaches and joint pain.
* Warm / cold compress: Applying a warm or cold compress to the affected joints can help relieve pain and stiffness.

If these symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
