Hello,

I can understand your concern. Are you having pain in the forehead or at the temple area while chewing?

If you are having pain in the forehead, then it is possible that you have hurt masseter muscle which helps in chewing. This usullay hurts in a concussion wound and if you are not having swelling, dizziness, confusion or any other symptoms, you can give it a few days to heal and do not require emergency treatment.

If you are having pain and swelling in the temple area, then it is necessary that you visit an oral & maxillofacial surgeon for clinical examination and investigations like x-ray of the area to rule out any bony injuries.

For the relief in pain, you can take Ibuprofen 400 mg 8 hourly for few days and can apply ice over the injured and painful area. I would also caution you against driving the bike this fast as it can result in fatal injuries.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
