What Causes Headache While Lying On The Back Of The Head?

I can not lie on the back of my head if I do during the night I have severe pain going up the back of my head right side and it leaves me with a headache. Sometimes all I have to do is get up and wait and the headache will go away...I have a cup of coffee, move around, glass of water. Thank you

According to your complain you have problem of headach at lying down position more that may be because of cervicogenic headach..

Sinus headach also cause lying down position headach...
Mention a intensity and duration of headach..
Detail history and physical examination give exact idea...
Other cause may find out behind headach...
Treatment can srart according cause...

Ct scan and MRI can done for further diagnosis..
Consult a neurologist for further diagnosis..
