What Causes Headache While On Omeprazole?
I have what I call indigestion - it has lasted now for 5 days - there is a pain in the center of my chest and it hurts some when I swallow - I take a large amount of prescriptions. I do take Omeprazole each morning. At this time I have a terrific headache - it is not constant, but have had one each while for a few hours.

Headache is a possible side effect of omeprazole but on the other hand omeprazole is not the only cause of the headache. Because you are having indigestion for 5 days it might be that the headache and the indigestion are both caused by the same cause, possibly a viral infection.
You may choose to stop omeprazole and see if the headache will improve but I would expect the headache to improve naturally in 2-3 days. Make sure you drink well and rest as needed. If the headache stops and you still need to use omeprazole you can try to restart it a few days later and if the headache restarts with the use of omeprazole then it is clear that the headaches are related to omeprazole and you will need to avoid using it.
If you are not better in 2-3 days with the headache or you notice any worsening you will need to see a doctor.
