What Causes Headache While On Medication For Thickened Artery Wall?
Hi, My father is 65 Yrs old and he had complained of giddiness, imbalance and numbness on left side of the body. The doctor informed hat this is due to thickening of a artery wall. He is on medication since 1 month. He was taking strocit 500. He is having headache. What is storcit for and is it related to the symptoms?
As per my clinical experience, the Storcit contains Citicoline used for variety of clinical conditions related to stroke issues. The Citicoline is equivalent to naturally occurring neurotransmitter substance Phosphatidylcholine which improves brain function. There are various side effects of the drug as: - GI upset - Nausea - Bloating - Diarrhea - Headache - Dizziness - Blurred vision
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
