What Causes Headache With Sun Exposure, Cold Temperature Or Improper Diet?
Hello doctor I am 50 years old and I get frequent headaches for various reasons. Cold conditions, if exposed to sun, if I didn t have meals proper time etc. Right from teenage days I have been getting headaches. These days it is frequent. Usually starts on one side and spreads to the whole head. Throbbing pain which aggravates when I suddenly get up or look down. I am diabetic for the past two years. Fasting sugar 126, PP 160. No nausea. I used to take Panadol before but now on Meftal forte. kindly advise what to do. Is it something serious?
Hello, Thanks for using HealthcareMagic. I had gone through all the data posted. The symptoms you have described is suggestive of migraine. so you need to take Tab. Naprosyn at the time of attack. and if the attacks are frequent you need to be on preventive therapy like beta blockers.
there are common triggers for migraine which should be avoided to decrease attacks. some of them are sun exposure, stress, sleep deprivation, not eating, smoke, alcohol..
sugars are under fair control. discuss with your physician for starting preventive therapy for migraine which will help you to decrease attacks..
Hope this helps..
