What Causes Headache,dry Mouth And Fatigue After Taking Physiotens For High BP?

Hi, I have been taking physiotens 200mcg for 21 days for high blood pressure and I have developed symptoms such as daily headaches, dry mouth and extreme tiredness and fatigue. Don't want to leave the house, cant be bothered doing anything. Also taking 24mg of Atacand. Betty

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain headache , dry mouth and fatigue after taking Physiotens that contain active ingredient Moxonidine that helps in reducing high blood pressure are most common side effects of the drug and you are suffering from side effects of the same..
As far as Atacand is concerned, it can also cause dizziness and tiredness and it is also blood pressure controlling medication..
I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be done and either the dose of the medication can be changed or it can be replaced with other drugs..
As of now for dry mouth you can start chewing sugar free chewing gums, suck tart candies and gargle with specialized mouthwash like Biotene..
Drink plenty of water..
Take plenty of rest and avoid stress..
