Hi there, I have been weighing up whether to go to my local gp and even the emergency department at our local hospital when it has been out of hours. I started having minor symptoms on Friday. 3 days later, I don t feel like I am getting better. I have been experiencing the following Sore throat Headaches Fever (as high as 39.5 that s been recorded) Resting heart rate at 105bpm (highest recorded) Day and night sweats Chills and Goosebumps (even when wrapped in blankets or next to a heater) Clear nose (not running or stuffy) Loss of appetite Dehydration Difficulty swallowing (at times) Fatigue Loss of energy Pale Dry cough Tonsils are not swollen so I ve ruled out that to be the cause. Is there any idea what I could have? Is it serious enough to go to see a medical officer or wait it out? I have been taking time off work, and drinking water and panadol to help as much as possible.
