Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been getting serious quick-onset, very slow to dissipate (1 to 3 hours) headaches clearly associated with pre-climax (I call them sex headaches ). I am a 57 year-old man who is i otherwise reasonably good shape; but I have been under increased stress due to my wife having COPD, and our sex-life decreasing greatly due to this. Are my headaches normal due to my stress/infrequency of sex, or am I in real danger for something serious? My BP has been edging up slowly since I hit 55, but it is still almost always within normal limits.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Take proper care of BP (Blood Pressure); it should be below 140/90. You are suffering from benign sex headache, get it cured by tablet Indomethacin after sex and do not worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
