Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Headaches Along With Cold Hands And Dizziness?
my granddaughter has a headache, ice cold hands and body light headed and her hands keep closing up.. she passed out yesterday... she is 24 yrs old. she is not running a fever but doesn t feel right. she is a ballerina and in very good shape.. eats healthy etc. but feels her extremities are not getting oxygen and that is why they are so cold... she isn t sick, no runny nose cough or anything like that... she did feel when this started tonight her throat was going to close up and her hands formed into fists.
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Considering the symptoms mentioned above in my opinion your granddaughter is having some kind of stress and anxiety syndrome.
These might be also a consequence of not taking all the vitamins and proteins that her body and brain needs to function normally, because of her tendency to keep her body in a good shape.
However, I suggest you take her to the doctor for a physical examination, and to do a complete blood count analysis because she might have an iron deficiency anemia that needs to be treated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata,
General & Family Physician
