General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because you have flash headaches with flush and hypertension it might be good to do some tests to rule out pheochromocytoma.

This is caused by a mass (noncancerous) in the gland over the kidney which produces hormones that might cause headaches, hypertension and the flushes in crises (episodes).

It is a very rare condition but is worth having checks to rule it out due to the episodic history you have.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
