What Causes Headaches Along With Joint Pain And Swelling?

I have some symptoms that are becoming troubling and affecting my quality of life. I am a 53 year old woman, aand type 2 diabetic, and moderately overweight. They are: 1. Daily headaches that are only somewhat helped with OTC meds 2. Joint pain and swelling in my hands--the swollen joints are red and becoming knobby and miss shaped. 3. Profuse sweating. With the least exertion or stress I am sweating. I wake up in the morning with my pillow and sheets wet! 4. There are times my vision just goes crazy blurry, even though I always wear my prescription glasses.

Hi,

Red swollen joints might be due to a rheumatoid condition or so-called autoimmune disease. You will need to do tests to rule out rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatoid disease.

There are a few blood tests your doctor needs to do, probably x-ray of some of the joints and also a thorough physical examination to collect more information on the possible cause and needed treatment.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
