What Causes Headaches Along With Mild Elevation In Liver Enzyme Levels?

I had my blood work results come back with high LDL and low HDL along with slightly elevated liver enzymes. Recently I have had headaches daily and feel like I could fall asleep at any time of the day. I exercise 7 days a week and eat very well about 85-90% of the time. I also drink a gallon of water a day. No other liquids other than one cup of coffee in the morning.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should also do an abdominal ultrasound to check liver structure. I think you may be having fatty liver which is causing the elevated enzymes. You may need to take drugs to lower your LDL levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
