What Causes Headaches Along With Numbness In The Thumbs?
hi i am a 22 yr old female , mother of two children suffering from constant headaches. most of the time they never go away no matter what pain relief i have. they feel really painful to the point i have cried just held my head tightly the pain is pulsating on and off slowly passes after ten mins or so . it also awakens me at night instantly, this happens near my temples and forehead gets really heavy. i have suffered headaches over the past few years and has got worse and worse i never thought much about it but now i have newer issues such as dizzy spills randomly come out of no where and nearly feel as if im going to black out , i loose my balance and also have had blurred vision now n then.. i have recently experienced a bad break up where my partner cheated on me , i have had feelings in my stomach where it has felt like i have had a million butterfly s in there my breathing goes all funny as well but passes within different times . i have had numbness in my thumb and index finger tips coming and going randomly for the past 2 to 3 weeks after break up but now my middle finger is starting to do it as well the numbness lasts up to 4 mins but passes and also i have been constantly tired like really tired and wanting to sleep all day even though i go to bed early and get enough sleep which is strange i never feel like this im starting to think this is really serious
Most commonly your headache could be a migraine. However, your description is not typical for migraine headaches. However to rule out certain serious diseases I recommend a neurologist consultation. The neurologist probably would order an MRI scan of your brain. Also, they might perform lumbar puncture too.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
