Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I had protected Sex with a random girl but the condom came off. I have felt strange right from the second day. I ran an HIV test 5 days after and it came out negative. I also ran the HIV 1 / 2 AB + P24 Ag exactly 17 days after and it came out negative. I started having slight headaches, body pains in the first week. The doctor I saw said that I am safe but I still feel this slight headache and this is the third week after exposure. What do you think?
You do not have to worry about HIV. With negative antigen testing after 17 days of exposure, The possibility of HIV is ruled out. The headache you are experiencing could be stress related. You can take Tylenol for pain and try relaxing.
