What Causes Headaches And Chills While On Cefuroxime Prescribed For Sinus Infection?

I am taking a medication for sinus affection it's called apo-cefuroxime since last Wednesday and I have been having a lot of headache , chills , and going to the bath room about 3 to 4 times a day soft stool.
I was wondering if I should stop taking the men's, also got some nose spray which I stopped taking.please advise.

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of chills, headache and loose motions can be due to side effects of the antibiotic cefuroxime that you are taking and if it is due to side effects of medicine it will resolve once the medicine intake is stopped..

Although headache and chills can also be due to sinus infection..
I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treating accordingly..

As of now you can take painkiller like Acetaminophen and also loperamide for loose stools,..
Drink plenty of water, take a light diet and sufficient rest.
