General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

In some cases, the symptoms are temporary and there are no long term consequences.
This may be the case for you.

Long term complications may include permanent nerve injury. In severe cases of shock there may also be psychological injury.
Pain can also occur as a result of this type of trauma.

The acute symptoms may last a few days to a week.

If these are severe or your symptoms continue for a prolonged period of time then you can see your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
