What Causes Headaches And Gastritis While On Metiltendidate And Oxcarbazepine?
Hi doctor I have a child that takes metiltendidate and oxcarbazepine and he has been having stomach aches and was recently diagnosed with gastritis. He also complains of sever headaches everyday. I wanted to know if any of these medicine could be to blame?

Yes the medications are strong and cause gastric like symptoms and headaches. Please make sure the medications are taken as instructed with food and water. Avoid alcohol and smoking to prevent further worsening of his symptoms. Drink plenty of water, avoid fatty food, fried food, oily food and carbonated drinks.
