Hello and thank you for using healthcaremagic.

I understand your concern about your daughter. I would like to point out that given the symptoms it is highly likely that your daughter is having change in her eye power, along with nose bleeding.

I say this because, with gradual change in eye power, a child tries to compensate for the vision problem without even realising it. This more often than not puts pressure on eye muscles, which leads to heavy and itchy eyes. Doing this continously causes headache and even loud sounds become unbearable.

So before visiting a neurologist, it will be better to have your daughter checked at the ophthalmologist, because if the neurologist finds nothing wrong with her then he or she may most probably send you to an ophthalmologist afterwards.

About the nose bleed, it is also not very uncommon. It often occurs when the child is straining, under stress, or sometimes even something as small as a sneeze. Mostly it stops on it own, and sometimes just squeezing the nose does the trick. But if the bleeds are repeated and not associated with trauma or stress, a few blood tests to check her coagulation profile are required to come at a conclusion.

So to summarise
1. Check her eye power, and eye in general before heading to a neurologist.
2. Check her blood coagulation profile if the nose bleeds are heavy, unprovoked.

Hoping that your daughter gets well soon.

I hope I have answered your query with adequate information. If you have more queries feel free to ask them.

Thanks again.
