General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to occipital neuralgia.
I suggest using an over the counter option to treat the pain such as Ibuprofen 400 mg.
I also suggest to rest and avoiding factors that can trigger the symptoms.
If the symptoms continue, you should see a neurologist.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
