What Causes Headaches And Stomach Aches Upon Weaning Off From Neurontin?
I was having bad side effects with Neontonin, prescribed 3 x a day for nerve related pain. I cannot handle the side effects and so decided to stop taking them altogether. I weaned for a couple of days--1 per night but now am not taking at all. Having headaches and upset stomach almost daily. Would this be from not weaning off properly?

* As per my clinical experience, the headache is part of the weaning process from Neurontin, but the abdomen pain is related to gastritis originally caused by its intake.
* Additional intake of proton pump inhibitor as Omeprazole and Paracetamol for a headache will cure the issue nicely.
