What Causes Headaches, Blotchy Red Skin On The Face And Heart Palpitations?

I have recently experienced severe headaches, blotchy red skin in the face, and heart palpitations. The doc gave me metropropol and I have been taking it for 4 days now without relief. I also feel like my face has pressure in it - wondering what is going. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Blotchy red skin or flushed skin associated with heart palpitations & headache is indicative of hypertension with developing CAD, thyroid issues, side effects of medications or alcohol intake. If you have history of hypertension, continue to take the prescribed medicine. Get clinically examined & get blood tests done to rule out thyroid issues. Get Lipid function tests, stress test, EKG, Echo, X-Ray, CBC done to detect CAD, get treated at the earliest. Avoid addictions if any, take adequate water & rest, maintain healthy weight, avoid stress & junk food.
