What Causes Headaches, Ear Pain, Swelling In Gums Along With Severe Pain?

I know I should probably be talking to a dentist about this, but I think I may have a wisdom tooth coming in. There isn t a whole lot of swelling in my gums but I have a sharp pain starting from the back of my back to the middle of my bottom row of teeth. I ve also been suffering from headaches and an ear ache from the side of the jaw pain.

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Pericoronitis which is the inflammation of the gum flap due to either infection caused due to food accumulation between the gum flap and the erupting wisdom tooth or it can be due to injury caused by biting by the opposite arch tooth..

It leads to inflammation and pain which can radiate to entire jaw of the effected side, throat, eye, ear and the temple region too..

The gums can get swollen due to inflammation and pus formation..

I would suggest you to consult a dentist and get evaluated by getting an
x ray done and in case if the wisdom tooth will erupt completely medication followed by removal of gum flap known as OPERCULECTOMY can be done..

In case if the tooth is impacted extraction of the tooth can be done followed by antibiotics and painkillers..

Hope your query is solved..
