Hi,

Diabetes can possibly be a cause of the numbness that you are experiencing. Diabetes, if the blood sugar control is not tight, can cause neuropathy, which is nerve damage.

This nerve damage can cause pain, numbness, burning, tingling and a number of different symptoms, persons can experience all or some of these symptoms with neuropathy.

It may not be the cause of your headache so this may need to be assessed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
