What Causes Headaches In The Mornings And Evenings?

Yes,please. I am a retired LPN, 65 years of age and have controlled hypertension with meds but have been struggling to quit smoking as well as lose weight. I have read all the usual as well as atypical signs of stroke in women. This may sound very odd but it is quite unnerving to me. I have been having these episodes of hearing as well as feeling what could be described as best as I can as seconds of repeated static like sounds in my head . It reminds me of Morse code that I actually feel and can hear. Please, I am not someone who believes in martians or something. I also have been having headaches mostly in the morning upon rising and evening but they are not severe. I used to get migraines so I know severe. Do you have any insight in this static-like phenomena? Please advise . Thank You.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should have to check your blood pressure and sugar levels either it may be increased blood pressure or decreased sugar levels causing that. Also check your vision. Vision problems can also cause symptoms of headache. If you have any of the other symptoms of sinusitis such as throat congestion or burning of eyes and irritation in the nose while taking breadth than think about sinusitis. First have good clinical examination and then establish diagnosis and then take medicine or vice versa.
