Hi,

It sounds like you are having abnormal periods. The pregnancy test should be quite accurate if your abnormal period started last month. To be sure, you can repeat the test or talk to your medical doctor to get a blood test (which is very accurate). Abnormal periods can be caused by pregnancy, but they can also be caused by many other things.

Hormone changes, dieting, increased activity, tobacco use, stress, infections, etc. can all change periods. Generally, abnormal periods do resume being normal after a cycle or two. If it hasn't, you can see your medical doctor and have a physical exam. Pregnancy may explain your other symptoms, but they may also be from other things as well. Double-checking with another urine or blood pregnancy test can help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
