What Causes Headaches, Nausea, Diarrhea, And Heartburn?

I have had headaches since age 13, about 8 weeks ago I got this unbearable pain on the left temporal area only. Since then my neck feels taunt, and my left arm aches aling with in the last 24 hrs the onset of flu like symptoms: nausea, dizziness,diarrhea, and heartburn.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headaches, nausea, diarrhea, and heartburn due to gastroenteritis , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance , giardiasis or intestinal Ileus.. It could be due to disturbed metabolism of body leading to electrolyte imbalance. It can also occur due to acid reflux . I would suggest you to take acetaminophen and antiemetic medication. Avoid intake of any outside food. Take diet rich in multivitamins and avoid any oily sharp and fast food. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history. Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine. You should take proper rest. You should take plenty of fluids to re-hydrate.
