What Causes Headaches While On Lexapro For Anxiety?

Hi - am on Lexapro generic for general anxiety since May. Decided to taper off after 2 months, Tapered too quickly and am back on it for the last two weeks. For the last two weeks I have been taking brand Lexapro as I felt it would be better. Now I am getting headaches - since starting the brand. I know the drugs are meant to be the same but I feel like I m starting all over again. Any idea how long these headaches will last - side effect of Lexapro?

As per my clinical experience, the Lexapro contains Escitalopram used in various clinical contexts. The various common side effects of Lexapro are like:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Insomnia
- Fatigue
- Constipation
- Erectile dysfunction
- Difficulty in achieving orgasm
- Others
Your headache is in concern with the current medication side effect and the dose of which needs adjustment with your family care physician.
