I FELL AT HOME AND HIT MY HEAD, AFTER WARDS NOTICE THAT HAD CAN NOT HEAR WELL, SOUNDS A DISTANT NOISE LIKE A BUZZ ( THREE DAYS AGO), SOME DISCOMFORT.....IS MY EARDRUM BROKEN?. WICH WOULD BE MY TREATMENT?..THANK YOU. no discharge, no secretions.
Hi.. Can understand your concern... As per your query,it can be possible that while injury there is rupturing of tympanic membrane or any nerve damage due to injury causing hearing loss and buzzing sound.....l suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for ear examination by audiometric test and Investigation CT scan and MRI might be needed... Hearing aid or devices can be provided by doctor which can amplify sound for better hearing or a tympanoplasty can be advised depending on the cause of damage. As of now protect your ear from work place or heavy noise. I hope this information helps you...Take care..
