Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is there any earache or ear discharge? With the given details alone, it is difficult to comment whether this is ear infection or not. Anyhow, as you were diagnosed with ear infection, if the symptoms are not getting better after 48 hours of present treatment, kindly review with your doctor. This might need oral antibiotics as well.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
