What Causes Hearing Loss Despite Using Ear Tubes?

I had ear tubes put in 16 days ago and am still having trouble with my hearing. it might be a little better, if so not much. The ent surgeon said he did not know if my hearing would come back, as its been longer than usual. the audiologist did tests one week apart and said there was nothing wrong with my hearing. Can t live like this, so i m contemplating removing the tubes.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it seems that it is confusing type of opinion you have been give ENT said that it is doubtful about hearing and audiologist said nothing wrong with hearing, better to wait for some time and if no improvement is there then you have to for second opinion if it is the neurological damage then hearing will be less likely hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
