General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It sounds like gastroesophageal reflux or maybe local irritation in your throat after the intubation. I suggest you try either some magnesium hydroxide or a proton pump inhibitor (e.g. nexium) for a few weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
