Hello
The side effect of all beta 2 agonist bronchodilator (albuterol is also a beta2 agonist ) is well known and palpitation is one among them.
The main stay of management for any form of asthma is inhaled corticosteroids
Ensure that you are on adequate dose of inhaled corticosteroids so that you can stabilize your asthma status and hence albuterol inhalation can be minimised.
Whatsoever, it is wiser to get a ECG (electrocardiogrophy) done and if necessary an Echocardiography to rule out an underlying structural heart disease if the symptoms recur even if you are off albuterol
hope my answer was useful
