Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What could be cause heart pain and nausea. My heart has felt odd, kinda like tightening but not quite . It s making it harder to breathe especially at night . Not only that I have felt nauseous for the last couple of day . Making it very hard to eat Anything because if I do eat I feel sick right away.
I would advice you to visit a hospital emergency. The symptoms are suggestive of heart attack or myocardial ischemia. An ECG and few routine blood works will be done at the hospital; along with monitoring vitals like blood pressure, heart rate, blood glucose. If the ECG and other tests turns out to be normal we can think other differential diagnosis for your complains like heartburn / dyspepsia, GERD, side effects of any medication etc.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef, General & Family Physician
