What Causes Heart Pain With Breathlessness?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my teenage daughter who is in otherwise good health, and who has just started ritalin, is experiencing pain in her heart and is having trouble breathing. Is this a side effect or something more sinister?

Dear Ritalin is used in attention deficit disorder , most common side effect of Ritalin is pain in the cheat , breathing difficulty . these sides effects are encountered in almost 15% of the patients on ritalin , therefore i would advice you to switch over to another drug or to ask your doctor to give a trail to the lower doses, dont worry its not because of heart but is because of drug side effect
