What Causes Heart Palpitation After Using IBgard?
In the use of IBgard I have experienced by using perhaps 1/4 of capsule in apple sauce did not chew as the directions said. About 4:30 am experienced heavy pulsating and possibly fast heart beat. Called pharmacist and by 5:45 my pulse was normal. Also had more bowel movements of higher mass than usual. Is this cause and effect?

Some drugs are slow release capsules and caplets and if we chew them at once, a huge amount of them get entry into the system causing the issues like you have. It depends what type of medication it was.
