What Causes Heartburn And Acid Reflux While On Zegerid And Zolpidem?
I have taken Zegerid every day for several years without side effets that I am aware of. I have tried to take it every other day and experience heartburn and reflux. I am 78 years old, female. Take no other meds except occasionaly Zolpidim (generic for Ambia).. I am concerned about taking Zegerid for the rest of my life. Are there long term dangers I need tobe aware of?

I really appreciate your concern, the hyperacidity could be due to the medicine taken beside this it is due to changed lifestyle, eating habits, stress, and junk food, I would suggest to have tab Omeprazole with Domperidone, if the medicines that you are taking are not necessary then you can stop them. Discuss this with your doctor.
