What Causes Heartburn And Burning Sensation In Stomach While On Lap Nissen?
I had a nisson wrap done 10 years ago. I have had not had any issues until about 9 months ago. It started with me getting heartburn and burning in stomach. It quickly progressed to the acid coming up my through the. It would stop me breathing and would burn very badly. Last Friday it came up my throat and into my mouth. It ended up in my lungs and I have been in hospital for a week with aspiration pneumonia. They gave done some tests but what else could it be. When I had it done I could not burp, vomet, sneeze and now I can do all three. What can be done to correct this? It is affecting my asthma.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to gastroesophageal reflux disease. I suggest using a PPI medication which lower the acidity in the stomach. I also suggest using antacids such as Maalox three times a day. I recommend to avoid food that can trigger the symptoms.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
