What Causes Heartburn And Soreness Under Rib Cage While On Adderol?

Hi- I m 36 and 10 years ago I had pancreatitis. I have been on adderol for a couple years and haven t had any physical side effects - but today my stomach (right side under rib cage) is so sore. It feels as tho I did a bunch of sit-ups, super sore m. I m a bit worried so I look forward to hearing back from you. I do have a little gas and heartburn today if that makes any difference. Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have heartburn and soreness under rib cage while on Adderol. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are due to adderol as its side effects . Adderol is known to cause chest discomfort in some cases . I would suggest you to consult your doctor , who prescribed this drug and discuss the condition . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . For now apply warm compresses to chest and eat light and non spicy . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist for heart problem like angian or gastroenterologist for acid reflux .
