General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Short answer: Acute gastritis.

Detailed answer: Burning pain in epigastric region is probably due to gastritis. Don't drink soda. It will further aggravate your problem. Drink something cold like fruit juice, cold water. Oprezole helps your problem.

Additionally, don't eat spicy food, avoid carbonated drinks, coffee, tea. Avoid stress.

Hope this helps.

If you have any other query, feel free to ask.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap
