Hi,

Please get below mentioned conditions ruled out. First is varicosities of veins in your legs (prominent, dilated and tortuous veins over leg, thigh etc.). If there is any nerve damage or impingement then also you can develop burning sensation where the nerve gets trapped or pinched during its course from spine.

You need to get it ruled out by nerve conduction study and/or MRI. You also would need to get peripheral neuropathy(which have many reasons like vitamin deficiency, damage due to a systemic disease like diabetes or hypertension etc.) ruled out by your treating physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
